HAPPY COLLABORATORS FOR A HEALTHY COMPANY.
On August 1st, we celebrate World joy day, a date established in 2010 by the Colombian Alfonso Becerra. This celebration began to be commemorated in 14 countries, and today it is celebrated worldwide.
Psychological experts define joy as a passenger emotion that can be demonstrated through a smile, applause, jumps, or dances; it’s worth mentioning that each human being tends to express it in different ways.
In the work environment, it has been demonstrated that a happy person tends to be more productive, exhibits more energy, and is more creative and efficient; besides easily overcoming difficulties and spreading their enthusiasm to those around them. Due to the pandemic many companies decided to adopt a work-from-home model, in this regard, work teams have faced the challenge of continuing to generate happiness even from a distance.
It’s important that one of the pillars of the culture of every company focuses on having happier employees, leading to better productivity; this results in a comfortable and motivated workforce for the performance of their tasks.
We share some tactics to promote happiness in the employee:
It’s essential to maintain a good work environment.
Recognize the performance and achievements of the team.
Foster a culture of support and companionship.
Consider opinions or ideas for better group performance.
Offer them a career growth plan.
Provide emotional benefits (flexible schedules, extra vacation days, non monetary incentives).
Give them autonomy for decision-making.
In Bindiva, we care to create an environment where employees feel part of a highly committed group dedicated to professional, personal, and emotional growth. We continue to work tirelessly to provide our Bindivos with the best workspace they can enjoy.
